The Swedish JWRC champion, Mille Johansson, recently announced an unusual move. Johansson is to compete in WRC for two teams this season. As a JWRC champion, M-Sport provides with a part-time WRC2 season, where Mille will drive in Croatia, Portugal and Finland for M-Sport and Canary Islands, Greece and Estonia for MS Munaretto. Johansson already started at home soil in Sweden this february, where he had to retire his M-Sport Ford after hitting a tree and his roll cage had taken damage.
Johansson has already had some cooperation with MS Munaretto before. Last season Johansson did the Italian championship and the ERC rally of Sweden, where he ended up sixth with the MS Munarello team.
The new cooperation gives Johansson the maximum number of starts to score points. The driver can nominate 7 rallies to score points, where the six best starts counts to add points.
