Pajari wins in Estonia

Sami Pajari has written his name into World Rally Championship history after securing his first-ever Rally1 victory with a commanding performance at Rally Estonia. The Toyota driver delivered a near-flawless drive from the opening stage, leading the event from start to finish and announcing himself as one of the sport's brightest young stars.

The fast and flowing Estonian gravel roads rewarded commitment and confidence, and Pajari had both in abundance. After setting the pace on Friday by winning every stage of the opening leg, the Finn never looked back. Despite constant pressure from teammate Oliver Solberg, Pajari remained calm, avoiding mistakes while maintaining an impressive rhythm throughout the weekend.

Co-driven by Marko Salminen, Pajari controlled the rally with remarkable maturity, eventually sealing victory by 19.5 seconds over Solberg. Adrien Fourmaux completed the podium after another competitive showing for Hyundai, but the weekend belonged to Toyota's rising Finnish talent. Pajari's performance included 12 stage wins from the rally's 18 special stages, underlining just how dominant he was on one of the fastest events of the season.

The victory marks a major milestone in Pajari's career after progressing through the junior ranks and establishing himself as one of rallying's most promising prospects. Estonia has often rewarded fearless driving, and this weekend the 24-year-old proved he has what it takes to fight at the very front of the World Rally Championship.

With confidence at an all-time high, Pajari now heads to his home event in Finland as a WRC rally winner for the very first time—a result that could prove to be the beginning of a new chapter in the championship.
