With friday done and dusted, Oliver Solberg still kept an impressive lead over his competitors. Second place Elfvyn Evans could just catch up on Solberg when he got a puncture on SS5, but Solberg regained the lost time on SS6. Ogier on third place gained almost 20 seconds on Evans later, on SS8, and on the last stage of the day, SS9, Ogier gained another 12 seconds on Evans, making the gap between the two Toyotas 6,5 seconds heading into the last two days. Outside the podium, Adrien Fourmaux is the best non-Toyota, followed by teammate Thierry Neuville. On sixth place is Jon Armstrong in his Ford M-Sport, a strong result for the Irishman in his debut in a WRC1 car.
